Enterprise Hardware/OS Requirements

NOTE: Actual requirements can vary depending on the number of concurrent console users, CTI monitored devices and plugins.

Client-based deployments: Four cores
WebConsole deployments: Four (4) or more cores

  • 4GB RAM (8 recommended)
  • 100GB HDD (free space with base OS)
  • 1 GigE LAN
  • 125ms sustainable connection between client machine and VPServer

NOTE: If you are planning on installing SQL Server on the VPServer you must have eight (8) cores allocated

Cisco TSP-supported Windows Operating System

  • CUCM 10.5
    • Server 2008R2 or Server 2012
  • CUCM 11.5
    • Server 2012, 2016 (2008 R2 is still supported)
  • CUCM 12.5
    • Server 2012, 2016

Stand-Alone “Lite” Console Deployments

VistaPoint “Lite” Console must be installed on the operator’s Windows 7/8/10 PCs.

Cisco UCM-Specific Requirements

Cisco TSP (this must always match the Cisco UCM/BE6/7K version)

NOTE: VistaPoint is Cisco approved for co-residency on BE6/7K

VistaPoint Client Hardware Requirements

  • 2.5GHz Processor or equivalent
  • 125 ms sustainable connection to the VPServer
  • 4 GB Memory
  • 100/1000 Mbps (gigabit ethernet)
  • 5GB space on hard drive
  • Mouse, keyboard, monitor (19″ monitor or larger is recommended)
  • Operating Systems:
    • Windows XP Pro w/SP2
    • Windows 7
    • Windows 8
    • Windows 10
    • Citrix

The operator’s PC connects to the VP Server using TCP Ports 8001 and 8002.

Note: If you are using a software firewall, create the exemption rules for the client to allow outbound communication to the VistaPoint Server.
